The Canadian Federal Government announced the CanExport program to aid small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) prepare for international markets. The four categories which are included under the CanExport program are:
CanExport SMEs is a funding program aimed at promoting and enhancing Canada’s attempts to diversify it’s market. It provides grants and contributions to Canadian businesses to assist them in preparing for and establishing a presence in foreign markets.
CanExport SMEs helps small and medium enterprises with funding to reach international markets. The government can contribute 50% of the funding with a maximum of $50,000 for export marketing of your products and services in untapped international markets.

A target market is a country where your company wishes to secure new customers or generate revenue with the help of CanExport SMEs funding.
